Landman

Blake Paschal is an experienced third-generation petroleum landman specializing in managing due diligence efforts for mineral and royalty acquisitions across various oil and gas plays. As Covenant’s Acquisition Landman, he diligently verifies the ownership and marketability of oil and gas assets being acquired.

Blake began his career early-on as a field landman by pulling and analyzing recorded documents from courthouses across Texas to generate full ownership reports for large operators. After working on complex title projects for various operators, Blake transitioned into mineral and royalty acquisitions, focusing primarily on the Permian Basin and the SCOOP/STACK as horizontal drilling efforts increased. Blake holds a proven track-record of sourcing, verifying, and closing deals on valuable mineral and royalty assets in addition to his experience running title.

Blake earned his BBA in Energy Management with a Finance minor from the University of Oklahoma, and subsequently earned his MBA in Energy Management and Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
